Another Major Award for Kamasa’s Off-line Concept
Friday 08 June 2007
Kamasa tools’ unique Off-Line driver technology has been acknowledged with another major trade award.
The Kamasa Off-Line Screwdriver and Bit set (Part 55836) took the silver award in the Hand Tools category of the Industry Awards 2007 sponsored by Koelmesse 2007 along with Hardware & Garden Review, DIY Week and Housewares.
The prize winning benefit of the Off-line Ratchet Screwdriver is that it can be used at an angle of up to 15 degrees that allows it to be used in awkward spaces such as against walls or under shelves. In addition it can be locked straight for normal use. The set includes 10 bits in Pz Drive, Phillips, Star and Flat formats.
The latest trophy joins the awards won at the Totally Tools Show at Earls Court where the company’s Off-Line Ratchet and non-ratchet screwdrivers took Gold and Silver awards in the ‘New Product Zone’.
Since it was originally developed as an innovative bit holder, the Off-line concept has been applied not only to a driver ad bit set and screwdrivers but to other tools such as a socket driver range available as 1/4"D, 3/8"D and 1/2", and an impact socket set recently introduced.
