UV Pen Will Help Track Stolen Goods

Monday 23 June 2008
Possibly the simplest and cheapest way to deter thieves or recover stolen property is to mark it with a security pen combined with a UV light (part 55905). Invisible to the naked eye, fluorescent marks made by the pen come brightly to life under ultraviolet light, flagging up potential theft to police who routinely use UV to check property thought to be stolen. The pen will invisibly write on most surfaces, making it ideal for marking postcodes or phone numbers on to mobile phones, MP3 players, lap tops and other portable electronic goods. It will also mark household items such as antiques, televisions and other objects of value and even show up fake bank notes, travellers’ cheques, credit cards and stamps. Expect to pay around £1.95 for this powerful anti-theft tool. Supplied in a Counter Display of 24 for impulsive purchases at point of sale.
